The only exception comes if your company is taking part in research and development of a technology that our government is interested in. The best place to look for help is through your state. Also, look into the SBA (Small Business Administration) for loans. Non-governmental funding will give you the most financial help. Go to the grants.gov website to find out what is available for you. Don't give up on finding financial help for your small company; it is out there you just have to find it.
