When I was in college my financial life wasn't very stable - which is something most of us can relate to. It's amazing when I think about it because I somehow would still be happy and positive, free of burden even though I survived on so little. On top of that not having security made life more short-term oriented and I had to constantly think of new money making strategies to get me through because nothing was constant.
Although that was very stressful at times it was also what kept life interesting as well. Having to think of new and creative money making strategies was like a game. Well, I can tell you from my experiences that I played a really interesting game indeed - like the time I helped an older lady with her candy machines.
It was the summer and my part time tutoring job had quit because of the school year and I had rent coming up. I somehow found this lady (I don't remember how) and I thought this would be a great one of my money making strategies because she had so many candy machines all across town and I would get a cut of what I helped maintain.
Long story short let's say that among my money making strategies it wasn't the brightest, but it has been a great experience in learning as well as an ice breaker for sure!
